History of Bitgreen
BitGreen was launched with the aim of becoming an alternative to Bitcoin and originally the project was called Bitcoin Green. The big difference between the two is in the consensus chosen by the two blockbusters.
According to BitGreen's official website, the main mission of the project is to use the potential of blockchain technology to provide sustainable, network-based services while placing the community at the centre of the project.
Characteristic of the bitgreen masternode
Originally Bitcoin and its Proof-of-Work (PoW)
The first cryptocurrency created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto, I named the Bitcoin introduced cryptocurrency mining. The consensus used to validate transactions is the proof-of-work provided by the mining machines. In exchange, the owners of these machines, known as miners, receive Bitcoin rewards.

But the Bitcoin network is not perfect. Among the criticisms it faces is the eternal debate about electricity consumption. Indeed, the hardware (notably the asics
used to validate the network is relatively energy-intensive, although over time, the ratio between power generated and energy consumed is improving significantly.
It is also regularly criticized for its high fees and low transaction throughput.
BitGreen's answer through Proof-of-Stake (PoS)
There is already an answer to the first criticism mentioned in the name: "green". The BitGreen project is based on The Green Protocol. This protocol invented by BitGreen is much more energy efficient, fast and scalable thanks to a combination of Proof-of-Stake and a network of masternodes
... Also, it is in its structure that the Bitgreen network is more competitive than its predecessor.
In this way, BitGreen provides an alternative to Bitcoin and its Proof-of-Work. In exchange for holding their funds, users who decide to block them to support the Proof-of-Stake network receive BITG rewards. In this way, the blockchain is supported by its own users, thanks to a much less energy-intensive consensus.
Just Mining's service
At Just Mining, we offer you the opportunity to acquire a BitGreen masternode and receive regular rewards. In addition, for smaller budgets, you can opt for a shared BitGreen masternode. This option allows you to own a share of a complete node (from 10%). By opting for these solutions, we take care of installing your masternode, maintaining it and paying you your rewards. All you have to do is earn rewards.
